"Two 4 The Road" is a fun duo featuring cornet and sousaphone (or standup bass) plus vocals, ideal for mall openings, promotions, political events, fairs , festivals or any project that requires an entertaining act.

Both David and Doug have extensive experience playing in bands of varying styles including dixieland, rock, and  small combos.

We do not require sound equipment so we are free to roam the venue playing amongst the patrons, if required.

While our music has it's roots in the jazz idiom, we never lose sight of the melody of a tune, so you never have to guess what we might be playing. The basis of our repertoire consists of dixieland jazz, songs from "The Great American Songbook", written and composed by the likes of Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Irving Berlin etc. and performed by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and more recently by Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt and Willie Nelson. For variety we throw in a few folk, pop, and Tijuana Brass tunes from the 60's & 70's.

"Two 4 The Road" is definitely a band that  should be considered for your next event, and at a starting price of only  $299.00 we are less expensive than a DJ.
